The hotel looks dated, but it was clean. Definitely convenient to the Navy RTC. Parking is free and always available. Gym was closed at the time we stayed there. Breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, yogurt and prepackaged muffins, so you need to go out to get more substantial food. Not much in the immediate area. Restaurants are a few miles away.

This was a nice and convenient stay, close to navy base for graduation. The rooms were really clean, found a few hairs on my pillow. Other than that it was good. Mattress was comfy and there was enough space for 3 of us. Bathroom sink was leaky and could use an update but if you’re looking for convenience and good pricing, this is for you.

The stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Waukegan was great it was closed to the Navy base and everything was closed by. The hotel was decent nothing to fancy but, very clean the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was as expected a continental breakfast nothing fancy a muffin, coffee, tea, juice, and yogurt.

This is an old hotel but it was very clean. The cleaning staff was spit on & polite. Negative breakfast is not good. No eggs, bacon or waffles. Just Yogurt & muffins. The tv kept going in and out. Sometimes black screen. We were there for Naval Station graduation ceremony.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2025 and got woken up to people fighting and yelling at 1 am they were also slamming doors and being very loud for an hour. Also the battery in the fire alarm went off a couple times and beeped very loud. On the positive side it was very easy to check in when I walked in my room it was very clean but I wish the bathroom was bigger it was very small and inconvenient. I don’t think I would like to stay here again because of how loud it is and nobody did anything about it.
