I’ve stayed here last year and this year for my birthday. Last year it was so quiet and peaceful while staying there. I was also greeted by the front desk staff, they told me happy birthday and everything lol. This year no one greeted me when walking in just stared at me. There were parties being held in the rooms, a child’s bday party in the pool area with children running around bothering me. So overall it was okay but I just wish this place wasn’t trending anymore.

The pros were excellent location, nice pool & grill area. The cons were: for a so called furnished apt, it was sparsely equipped. The beds were small for 2 adults. The water for bath/shower were only lukewarm, so that we hurrried to shower and skipped baths. The couch had holes in it, the walls were scraped and needed paint. Some outlets didnt work for charging. The pool area was crowded with too many people. The pool is small. The hot tub jets didnt work and the water was dirty. They just kept adding clorine instead. Has some potential, but needs maintenance and improvement to receive a higher ranking. The valet parking is $75 day, or you can park around the corner overnight for $28.

Very nice property. Very large showers and great view. Loved that it felt more like an apartment than a hotel! Staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of things to do near by and there is also a parking garage on the same block for $40 for 24 hours. Very nice pool, hot tub and other amenities. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!y

The staff are super friendly and accommodating when you have early arrivals/late departures. I felt safe, the other residents were easygoing, and everything I needed was within walking distance. If not within walking distance, the ride shares are always 2 minutes or less away.

We stayed at Sentral for a family getaway. It was comfortable & convenient to the activities we’d planned even in mixed weather. We walked an avg of 15k steps/day which was good! Bring sneakers & layers for a walk to mag mile or Sears tower (max 30 min). The views of the museums and lake from the unit (1808) are spectacular as is the overall apartment set-up including a kitchen with a few essentials. Windows open out and there are no screens. You’ll get a few insect visitors, but nothing major in winter/spring. The pool area (flr 7) is great, no towels. Roof hot tub! The staff, even in crowded reception, were consistently cheerful & helpful. I’d read in previous reviews that the water heater is loud in one bathroom. This is no exaggeration & hadn’t been repaired when we were there. Tub drain mechanism was broken in our unit. And yes one BR has a sliding door that’s a bit odd (doesn’t open all the way & leaves a crack when closed). Other than the bath, I struggled a bit with the kitchen. The set-up is nice, but it’s missing a couple of really important items we couldn’t easily pick up - no bowls, baking pans (foil only), coffee grinder. I’d brought pods & couldn’t use them. The blender is nice. Ice maker contained a solid sheet - no cubes. Decent stacked washer/dryer. We paid much less on an app for parking nearby - no in/out so we left it in. All in all, I DO recommend Sentral and we would book another stay as it was a solid choice for the money. Kids loved it.

The corner unit renter to us was beautiful until I walked into the master bedroom that reeked of vomit. While unpacking I stepped into a soaked carpeted area which was clearly just cleaned in attempts to get rid of the vomit. They missed a few spots on the bed frame and the vomit was still there. We ended up sleeping in the other bedroom with my son and husband having to sleep on the couch. Property overall was nice but this was not the experience I hoped for. Also, could not access wifi until next day because of poor host communication and no literature or emails being sent ahead of arrival to explain absolutely anything. Missed 1/2 day of work because I did not get access to wifi until the following day. They then wanted management to come up and inspect bedroom and vomit reports while we were still in room scheduled to check out in a few hours… as if I was not inconvenienced enough. Would not stay again solely for the poor customer service. Requesting full refund.

Beautiful property, nice view and everything walking distance. But checking in was a bit taken back because my room wasnt available due to maintenance. Room was supposed to be available at 4pm and it was available until 5:30. So we missed our restaurant reservation.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sentral. This property hit all stars on everything. Our room was wonderful and clean. The hotel staff was helpful and professional. The pool was warm and the room was breathtaking. Definitely recommend getting the parking app and vellet service at the Essex next door.

I had stayed here before and it was really nice this time it was COMPLETELY different,they told me no charge for my service dog then they charged me,had to email back and forth.fyi still has no indication of there being a charge of you bring your dog But that I can understand I did not have the vest on him.but a stain on the couch .large clumps of hair in the shower and to top it off literal vomit spewed across the window how they 1.got it on the window still puzzles me 2.that they still let someone come in for the night. Eeewe .yes it was on the outside so cleaning would be difficult and it did come from the unit above but to top it off the bed sheet in the morning had a dried pink stain that wasn't noticed till the morning light as the vomit ,we didn't arrive till way past dark and drapes were mostly shut .And after I sent pictures Expressing our disappointment.....nothing

My stay was amazing. My apartment style suite came with everything I needed and so much more. I cooked, signed into my Netflix, Disney+ account and just enjoyed the views and ambiance with my family. The pool and game room were a huge plus. I had peace, privacy and a spacious living unit. I was able to do laundry free of charge in my space and made a huge meal for Thanksgiving. 10/10 I’d definitely recommend
