Had a five-night stay with my family of three. The hotel's location is at the quieter side of Kyoto; and close to the commercial district, local train station and some of Kyoto's attractions; shrines; and temples. I just love walking around the area early morning and nights. The room is smaller to my standards as I expected. I found our room and bathroom clean and well maintained. They have coin operated washing machines in-house, a great amenity if needed. The hotel's English-speaking staff were very friendly and very engaging. I would definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I visit Kyoto.

Lovely property with magnificent staff in every station. Room was lovely, bed comfortable and temperature easy to control. Breakfast varied and everything tasty. Coffee really good. English primary language. Bed very comfortable. 10 out of 10. Beware of one thing, avoid low square footage rooms thinking your saving money…
