This basement suite is a walk-out basement, which offers advantages compared to traditional below-ground basements. With larger windows and better access to daylight, the living room has an amazing view of the backyard, mountains, and valley.
However, there is one disadvantage to consider: Noise Transfer. The ceiling is the floor of the upstairs unit’s common areas, including the living room, kitchen, and dining room, so footsteps and human voices may be audible at times. While we cannot control this, we want to make sure you're aware. If you’re a light sleeper who is sensitive to noise, this may not be the best fit for you.

Noise • Normal indoor noise (talking, TV, music at reasonable volume) is permitted at any time. • Outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum after 9 PM to respect neighbours. • Excessive noise or disruptive behaviour at any time is not allowed
No smoking or vaping • Smoking or vaping (cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, marijuana, chew tobacco, or any other substances) is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. • Violation will result in a $600 cleaning fee.
Pets • Up to two well-behaved pets allowed with prior approval; $200 pet fee per stay. • Pets must not be left unattended inside the house. • Bring your pet’s bedding and feeding bowls; clean up after pets in the yard. • Any damage caused by pets will incur additional charges. • Unapproved pets will result in a $600 fine.
Cancellation • Our cancellation policy is firm in all circumstances. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase trip insurance to protect their trips.
Wildlife • Bears may be present; please keep all food and trash indoors.
Security cameras • Cameras are installed at main entrances for guest and property safety • No cameras inside the house.
Safety • Backyard beyond the fence has a steep slope; use caution. • Home is not child-proofed; children must not be left unattended. • By booking this property, guests agree that using this property, house, and contents is strictly at the guests' own risk. The view alone is worth it but add on wonderful accommodation and this place is a must stay. Clean and lots of space for the two of us. Great access to trails etc, it was better than advertised. Ashley was so easy to deal with and a pleasure to book with. We can’t wait to come back.
Exceptional!! Communication, cleaning , everything was top notch , host is super kind and communicative. View is amazing and location is so convenient. Grocery stop 5 mins drive and you feel disconnected from the rest of the world by just sitting in window of this beautiful place. Thank you Ashley for being so welcoming and attentive. We had infant and toddler and she let us stay extra 2 hours to pack in peace
