"Great pub accommodation above a charming old inn. Obviously there is some noise from the bar but it wasn’t intrusive enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. "

"Lovely location, not a great check in as you have to queue up with the locals who are waiting to go in to the pub or have some food. Not the most welcoming place either, staff are always very busy sorting something out. The accommodation was nice, but bedsheets were stained , and the tea and coffee that was left was all mouldy so would recommend taking your own. "

"We could not have been more fortunate to find Trimnells House. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming and the accommodation really is one of the kind - the house and grounds are absolutely massive and it is in close proximity to both Chippenham and Bath Spa. The amenities were well stocked, it accommodates very large groups with ease and the property had everything from gaming facilities to travel reading and local guides. An ideal place to stay especially for larger groups."
