This hotel is broadly very good. I was staying in one of its better rooms and everything in the room was pretty good. The staff were excellent, the breakfast is good and the Ginger Restaurant was a real treat.
My only criticisms are 1) that there seems to be an issue with their hot water which means it is tinted yellow and sometimes produces sediment. This is only an issue really if you want to take a bath, but given PE and South Africa do have major water supply issues, this isn't the end of the world as the shower was good.
Otherwise, the WiFi wasn't strong enough to connect to my rooms smart TV, meaning I couldn't watch Netflix etc without using my phones hotspot. Again, fairly minor.
I would happily stay again.

We were warmly welcomed by Claudette at the Brighton Lodge after our scheduled accommodation was unfortunately hit with storm problems. Claudette helped us with our future accommodations and was very helpful with directions. We feel Claudette went over and above to make our stay a fabulous experience.

"Very good accommodation and a great location for visiting Mountain Zebra National Park which is only 10 minutes away. Plus they have recently added a super restaurant which must be the best in Cradock. We will definitely be back at Albert House the next time we visit Cradock and Mountain Zebra National ..."
