This hotel worked really well for my needs. The room was clean and well stocked. Having a washer & dryer was a big plus. Having a car when visiting Christchurch is a must. A lot of the things to visit are not close to each other. This hotel is on a major road not far from downtown. Getting around and parking is pretty straightforward. I would stay here again if ever in Christchurch.

We had a great two night stay at Terre Vive when we were in Christchurch for The Waterboys concert. Great location with only ten minute stroll to the Town Hall concert venue. Very helpful motel owner who checked us in, nice touches with heating, milk in fridge, etc would definitely stay again, great prices.

We had a very nice stay at Terre Vive in Christchurch. Very welcoming host, he even carried my bag as he showed us to our room! Very helpful information and advice about the local area. Good location. Pleasant walk into town, good parking.
