"This property is absolutely charming with amazing views both night and day. Communication was excellent no matter what our situation was or any questions that we had. They were very prompt. I will say that after a long day of travel, it was a little alarming. how steep the hills were and all the stairs in the house. However, after a good night’s rest, the challenge was an exceptional experience, worth every effort. The water area to swim was so fun and the water is great."

"The access to the two elevators in town really helps for getting to and from the train station without having to walk all the way up hill. It is also great to stay right in the heart of the older side of Riomaggiore"
Arpaiu - Odeyo Sas

"We had a wonderful stay at Arpaiu – Odeyo Sas in Manarola. Our room was charming, clean, and minimalist, with a window overlooking the south side of the marina from high above the village. One of our favorite memories was sleeping with the window open and listening to the waves crash against the rocks below—it was incredibly peaceful and almost meditative. Upstairs, there is a comfortable common area with Nespresso available 24/7 and an awesome outdoor deck with spectacular views of the cliffs and coastline. One important tip: pay close attention to the owner’s directions when arriving from the train tunnel! There is a much easier ramp leading up to the hotel. We saw other guests following Google Maps and struggling up the stairs with their luggage—not a fun way to arrive! Tatyana, the house staff, was wonderful. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us on our first morning and even took care of our dirty laundry for a very reasonable fee, which was especially appreciated while traveling. The location is also very convenient for quickly accessing the train and exploring the other Cinque Terre villages. Overall, Arpaiu was a wonderful and memorable stay. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Manarola."

"We had a lovely stay in Volastra. The private parking was a huge bonus, especially since parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult to find and expensive. The property is beautifully situated on top of the hill, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the surrounding area. Antonella was wonderful and so welcoming! She gave us helpful recommendations for walking down to Manarola, including the bus schedule for getting back up the hill and where to buy tickets for less than paying directly on the bus. She even offered to make us a coffee at 6:30 AM when we had an early checkout and couldn’t stay for the included breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She speaks French as well. A great spot to stay if you decide to visit Conque Terre, as I heard that you can also buy train tickets from her for cheaper."

"We really enjoyed our suite. The room had some normal wear and tear that didn’t really impact our stay. It took us a little bit of communication with the staff to figure out that the lights and wifi only work when the room key card is in the slot by the door. But once we did that, we had to reset the breaker for the lights. It all worked out tho. The view, the AC, the bath, and the bed were all incredible. My advice for anyone who might be interested in this room: understand that you will be trekking up the hill and it. Is. A. Trek. But it’s worth the effort. We appreciated the staff and enjoyed our stay immensely."

"Obviously everything in the Cinque Terra is on a slope. Our room was separate from the main hotel location and at the top of the village but ideal for those arriving by car as the village car park is close by. Those not liking a hill and arriving by train should make sure that they are in the main location in the lower town. Access to reception was via a private chat. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was modern with a large shower. The bed was big. We also had access to a nice terrace which we shared with two other rooms. All in all a good place to stay."

"We loved the apartment! The spiral type stairs to each floor was fun. This a 4 story unit with a room on each floor. Worked well for us. The AC was perfect and the location was spot on!"
