"I enjoy staying at this hotel in Sofia about once a year for 3–4 nights. There are many reasons for this; the main ones—though not necessarily in order of importance—are: The casino, which is an integral part of the hotel. The hotel's location, which puts good restaurants, shopping centers, parks, historical sites, and more within walking distance. I stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis and can attest that the breakfast is rich and varied. The hotel staff is service-oriented and helpful. The hotel also features a pool and a spa; while I haven't used them myself, I’ve heard positive feedback from those who have."

Staff was friendly and even upgraded us to the Presidential Suite after seeing us walk ~80m from the parking lot with luggage (no accessible transport). But the room let us down: carpets old, stained and dirty, floors unvacuumed, furniture disarranged, and zero decor. Lobby is beautiful, but the room didn’t match those standards. No surprise the Bonvoy partnership seems to have ended"
