Fairmont Royal York

"The signature two double room was a great size for two adults and two tween boys. They even brought in an extra bed for one of the kids. The bathroom was super tiny though, and no matter how many times we asked, they never brought enough towels for all of us. The rate was good though, and the location was fantastic for attending Jays games. You do get a fair bit of hallway noise (all.night.long on our first night) but no more so than other hotels, I think. The elevators in the lobby took a minute to figure out though (and not just us…we saw quite a few people struggle). Pretty typical fairmont experience - you always know what you’re going to get, the property is nice and staff are friendly."

"Beautiful sized rooms, very clean, lovely staff. Just wish the kitchenette was properly stocked. We do a lot of traveling and many hotels have at least some basic cutlery, dishes, a few pans, soap and papertowel. Our room had a full fridge, sink, stove top, dishwasher, and microwave but nothing in the drawers. We would have had to bring a separate suitcase of kitchen items to make our dinner."

"Really enjoyed that there were separate areas for everything, shower, changing area, work area, sleep area. It was so quiet at night because that was a designated quiet spot. The only thing I would have changed would have been that it would have been nice to have some sort of fruit with breakfast. I'm all for the basics but an apple or a banana would have been much appreciated."
