"Chateau Frontenac is a venerable and iconic lodge that isn’t resting on its laurels. Despite being 150 years old, the service and staff and accommodations are still at the top of their game. My only complaint, and it’s a thin one, is that I understood there was a spa with a dry sauna and a wet sauna. Only the men’s locker room has both. The women’s just has a wet sauna but it was broken. Boo hiss. For a world class hotel, arguably one of the best in North America, this is unacceptable. We went to Strøm Spa instead and spent a wonderful day (and a not insignificant amount of money) enjoying the thermal spa facilities. "
Luxury Retreat with Hot Tub | EV Charger & Parking
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at this comfy VRBO was much too short! Quebec City is an amazing place and we had a great time. The location was great due to... 1. it's right next to an ice cream shop and 2. it's centrally located between Q City and the Falls and very close to bike trails! You're basically between a small grocery store and an ice cream place. As for the property itself, we had plenty of room to spread out. The surfaces were uncluttered and available. We loved the big dining table between the kitchen and the living room. The king bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was great! When you look out the window of the living room it's like you're in a cabin in the woods. There's also a nice view of the St. Lawrence River from the property, and it's especially nice on a sunny morning. Pro tip: definitely use the photos sent by the host for finding the property. We had to copy and paste the URL into a search; it doesn't come through VRBO as a link for some reason. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay there again! "
