Staff were incredibly helpful in arranging a breakfast to go and advising on bus times when we had a train to catch. Lovely room, comfortable, large and nicely furnished and equipped. Dinner in restaurant was great too. Good veggie options. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.

Great hotel. Seems understaffed. They did not clean the room properly or replace towels despite being asked to. Restaurant was closed and there were just one or two places around open with not good food

Hotel Krone Churwalden was great. It’s located along a busy road in a small town, but it had a very updated feel. We stayed there two nights for our ski trip and since there wasn’t too many restaurants to choose from, we ate at the hotel every night for dinner and it was PHENOMENAL. Some of the best food we had during our Swish trip. The servers and bartenders are super nice as well. With it being a small town we stayed in most evenings, since there isn’t much to do around there, if you aren’t skiing. Side note, you’re able to walk to the ski lifts since it’s that close. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and provided good amenities. If you’re American I will say the only thing that slightly caught me off guard was the spa (saunas, hot tub) being a nude option. The front desk clerk did explain it to me, but no one in my party believed me, until we actually went one night to relax lol. Overall if you’re in Churwalden I wouldn’t stay anywhere but here.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht verbracht und waren mit den Rädern unterwegs. Beeindruckend war was dafür alles zur Verfügung stehen, Auch wenn wir es gar nicht in Anspruch nehmen mussten: Eine Waschanlage für Fahrräder, Reparaturmöglichkeiten und Werkzeug, Eine Druckluftanlage zum Aufpumpen, Und nicht zu vergessen ein abschliessbarer Bikeraum Mit unendlich viel platz. Alles Andere war ebenfalls top. Aber es hat natürlich auch seinen Preis. Trotzdem gerne wieder.

Beautiful hotel ! Our son 6 years old had the most fun with the bunk bed. Lovely spa and tasty breakfast. Everything was clean and fresh, friendly staff. Pity there was no refrigerator in the room.

Hübsch und tolles Personal

Sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Alles recht modern und hübsch. Aber die Details im Zimmer sind künstlich ("Holz"boden und -Schränke, sowie "Stein"-Platten im Bad. Ist i.O., aber nicht das gleiche wie aus Naturmaterialien.
