"The room was clean and proper. Breakfast was good with fresh coffee. The food tasted fresh, and there was plenty. Downside was that the room was pretty warm and the airconditioning was limited to 25°C (while not getting below 27°C and 60% humidity, according to the control module in the room). Also, there was a limited amount of power outlets in the room and no outlets next to the beds. Overall a good hotel for short duration stay."

"Agriturismo Pizzavacca was a real beauty, and the hosts were all so kind and helpful. We stayed in the Deluxe Quadruple Room with Garden View. The apartment was impeccably well kept, spacious, cool from air conditioning (despite high summer heat), sound proof, and had nice beds. The lift was most helpful too, to move our luggage with ease. They have an on-site restaurant and the food, wine and breakfast were all divine. A special touch were their homemade jams and juices, which were delicious....

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning old building (formerly a hospital). We had a lovely room with a little roof terrace - the jasmine that was planted all around the space was blossoming when we stayed and it smelt divine when we sat outside. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room - a great way to start the day. Room was kept beautifully clean every day. The gardens are lovely and nice to sit in for breakfast. Other reviews suggest the area is not the best but we thought it was wonderful, just a two minute walk from a square where there were food stalls and live music some evenings - so lively and diverse. It felt safe and friendly walking into the main city (15-20 minute easy walk). Parma is a fantastic city, the food and wine are incredible! We found eating out to be very reasonably priced compared to other parts of Italy we have been to. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this, but breakfast offered a very wide selection of food and drinks. Overall highly recommended - would definitely stay here again!"
