Villa Virna is a beautiful property located in Terrasini, 700 m. from the beach and about 25 km from Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily, while the international airport is only 10 minutes away.

Terrasini, is a lovely seaside resort town, which offers its visitors a vast choice of services and restaurants. In summer the city center, with its restaurants and clubs, is filled with people and the shops are open until late in the evening.

Villa Virna spreads over two levels. As soon as you enter you find a spacious and bright living room, with elegant furniture and materials. The living room has a corner with fireplace and a fully equipped cooking area. A small hallway leads to a double bedroom. The main bathroom has a shower with hydro-massage.

From the living room a winding staircase leads to the attic on the first floor, where are found two bedrooms, both with a French bed. In one of the two bedrooms there is the possibility to add a further single bed. Here is found a second bathroom with shower.

The villa is surrounded by a wide veranda with outdoor furniture overlooking the lush garden and the swimming pool. The beautiful garden is full of colored flowers and Mediterranean plants, and is the perfect place to spend relaxing moments in contact with nature.

The villa is in a wonderful location The villa is in a wonderful location being close to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Terrasini (which has some fabulous restaurants and is not overrun with tourists). We loved the outdoor patio and pool area. Inside the villa was spotless and it had everything you needed and more. The host was very responsive and resolved the issue we had with our aircon promptly. But do be aware that the upstairs space is compact. The bedrooms are loft rooms with sloping ceilings and the stairs are not made for the less agile. The mosquitoes do come out around 5pm so citronella candles and repellent spray are key. But otherwise would highly recommend this villa and we loved exploring this stunning part of Sicily! We had a really wonderful stay here. The villa is lovely, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering and the rooms very comfortable with good working air con. We would highlight that the 2nd floor bedrooms are up a spiral staircase which would not be good for young children or those with mobility issues. The upper bedrooms are dormer style with sloping ceilings but my teenage kids were happy and comfortable in them. The garden is beautifully kept. The pool is a good size with plenty of seating areas and lovely views of the hills which turn a beautiful colour in the evening light.The walk to the beach is easy and takes 10-15 mins. The beach is quite busy and bustling. There are bars to watch the beautiful sunset from. The walk to town is around 15-20mins with plenty of restaurants and cafes, a few smaller grocery shops and a cash point. We managed without a hire car. Taxis can be hired and the host also gave us the number of a reliable driver too. You can get an aircon coach cheaply into Palermo and we also went on the boat cruise from the Terrasini harbour to see a few more locations around the coast which was well worth the money. Before we went we worried about the proximity to the airport landing strip but this was not a problem at all. The noise is not loud or overly regular. Our host was lovely and was a huge help when we had a slight medical emergency, we couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend this villa!

We had a really wonderful stay here. The villa is lovely, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering and the rooms very comfortable with good working air con.
