Year of construction: 2007. The “Piccola Masseria” is a characteristic and attractive rural house just restored, built in the 1950s at the top of a hill in a village Casalini of Cisternino. The construction is surrounded by typical olive trees, majestic oaks and graceful fruit trees that preserve and recall the genuine charm of the peasant culture. The Masseria consists of a suite and six differently arranged mini-apartments,apartments that preserve and protect the architectural style that the Masters "trullari" have left us as legacy. The objects and furnishings in all apartments combine the comfort and the needs of the today’s life with the naturalness of rustic life. It is the simplicity and authenticity of stone so widely used in this southern corner of “MURGIA APULIA” (for example Trulli, dry stone-walls and so on) that characterizes the entire panorama and the beautiful. Therefore, during the stays, one shouldn’t miss excursions to Alberobello known as the capital of the Trulli, to Ostuni “La Città Bianca” with its entirely white old centre, to Polignano a Mare with its old town perched on a cliff, to Martina Franca its baroque art and finally to the karst caves of Castellana Grotte. For visitors who plan to stay some more days, not far away there are Castel del Monte, Matera with its famous Sassi, Lecce the capital of baroque,Trani and Bari respectively known especially for the Romanesque Cathedral and the Basilica Pontificia of San Nicola. The resort "La Piccola Masseria" consists of a suite and six mini-apartments (one is adjusted for the disabled); they have bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioners and heaters, tv lcd, wireless internet connection, washing machine, bedclothes, strongbox.
