"Pool concrete and areas did not appear to be up-kept. Gym was in disrepair and unusable, staff said its being remodeled but no work was in process or being done. Disallowed to plug in a rented golfcart. Bicycle rental not available, staff said they were all in maintenance being repaired. Drink service on the beach only available on 1 day. Inadequate quantity of loungers for guests. Food and drink quality not up to par for the price. We asked about paying to upgrade our room with a larger bed and were told the rooms with larger beds do not have a 2nd bed - Yet when we left we saw a 2nd portable bed being removed from another room??? On-site store was permanently closed with a chain on the door and closest store is a 10 minute walk. Beach towels not readily available. Hot water not always available for showering. Staff was nice and did the best they could with their hands tied. Maid service and room quality was great. Pictures of the resort are inaccurate and at least 20 years old. All in all it is a less than mediocre place with very little to do and badly needs a facelift."

"Oswaldo was amazing! He made us feel so welcome. I can’t say enough about how fantastic this hotel is. The staff the cleanliness, the condition of the hotel are top all notch. We travel to Mexico a lot and this hotel was one of the best!"

"Nice Hotel, nice big rooms, spectacular swimming pool. Breakfast delicious. Poor and weak internet, slow wi-fi works at times. Internet connection, it's a priority for guests. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Open Sky Ranch. It is as described and had everything we could possibly need. We had many bbqs and dinners at home, as everything was well equipped. Our granddaughter learned to swim in the pool and everyone enjoyed it after a hot day!The “compound” is literally steps from everything and we enjoyed some great meals around town - all walkable! Mi Loreto and Orlando’s were great meals and Zapata was a fun drink spot with live music on the weekends.Alfonso was such a great help to us - he was so responsive if we needed anything. He helped us set up an amazing fishing and sightseeing / beach day. He also set us up with bikes, kayaks, paddle boards which we took to the beach on the funky golf cart!Simone and Charlie, the owners, were very responsive and helpful from start to finish.We loved our first trip to Loreto and it won’t be our last!Thank you for sharing your home!"
