"Quirky building hidden amongst others. Beautiful old staircase and lovely open air terrace, which was wonderful to sit in the sun with a beer. Nice clean room. Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. "We chose this hotel because it was in easy reach of the Old Town and the main shopping street. The room was superb and very spacious, we had a huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking nearby and if you went to a storey ending with a B, a lift brought you up to street level, right in front of the hotel. This was chargeable but very convenient. The only downside side was that the restaurant menu was very limited for a vegetarian. There was one main dish which wasn’t really to our liking, so we ate out, intending to eat at the hotel the following day. However, when we went to the restaurant, the same menu was being served all week! Luckily, there were several good restaurants in walking distance. There was also a Tram Stop right outside the hotel. We would certainly stay at this hotel when visiting Tours in the future!"
