"The Captains Cottage was a perfect place to serve as home base while engaged in outdoor activities. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. There is a full fridge and freezer for food storage, but limited cooking capability (microwave and hot plate). The hosts were responsive and kind. We had a great time on our fall fishing trip to Port Angeles!"

"The property was located in a quiet community with easy access to stores. It's a short drive to the Olympic National Forest. The home was very clean and very well maintained as well as nicely decorated. Communication was excellent with quick responses to questions. "

"The house was immaculate and comfortable. The listing is very accurate. The house is very well built which meant it was quiet between rooms and floors and inside /outside. The house is in a quiet residential area. Everything was supplied. We based here to hike in Olympic Park and drive to Lake Crescent, Rialto Beach and Hoh Forest. The drives were beautiful in and of themselves. We also found good food in town. Port Angeles is a great base for visitng the area. I would stay again."

"Excellent property in great location to access the Discovery Trail. House was clean, nicely stocked and well laid out. Appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with many pots, dishes, and devices to make it easy to cook. Loved the cabinet labels that made it easy to find things. Enjoyed seeing the deer greet us in the front yard after a long day’s bike ride. Would definitely stay here again. "
