"The house was great. Very cozy for celebrating the new year. Beds are memory foam, new and wonderful if you like memory foam. Close to the National Park to be able to explore but come back and unwind. The house had everything we needed. If we ever come back we will definitely rebook."

"My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed."

"A great place to stay for the weekend. We loved feeding the animals next to the cabin and kayaking. We loved the dogs visiting (Lola, Charlie, and Bo). Everything you could need to cook was available. We made use of the fire pit in the back and made our dinner over it using the grill."

"This house is absolutely beautiful. I felt like we were on the set of Yellowstone. Every detail was interesting and authentic. Darrell had a fire going for us when we arrived and the home was warm and inviting. He also gifted us some fresh farm eggs and sausage which were so delicious! We loved drinking our morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch while we watched the horses grazing. If you like stargazing, you'll love this property at night. "Clean and well-equipped cabin overlooking a small pond. Owners were very cooperative and helpful. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and opted to leave early because pretty much all activities in the area are outdoors. After we used our cave tour tickets and found out that tours for the next few days were sold out, it didn't make sense to stay longer. Definitely rent a cabin on the lake. We were on a very small pond, and it was not what we expected. The waterfall and trail to get to it are...

"The place was great! Super cozy and even tho it was small it had plenty of space to move around and do everything we needed to. Very clean and the jacuzzi was as well. I wish the couch had been a pull out but the loft bed was interesting. Defiantly for those young at heart."

We almost exclusively use rental homes for our trips now due to having kids and more of a “home” feel. Communication with the host, Sarah, was so easy and she responded immediately to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone with kids of an any age.
