"The breakfast is a brown bag with an orange and a mini yogurt. The hotel is really rooms attached to a gas station, there’s no lobby. You check in inside the gas station. The toilet paper holder was a public bathroom locked holder. Very loud because of the gas station over night. "
"Very clean hotel. I would 100% stay there again. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach with stairs from the hotel property. My wife and I really enjoyed our short time there. We walked the beach but didn’t swim because it was windy and cold which was unusual to this time of the year. Other than that, I would recommend it."
"Room was clean and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the location, there was so much within walking distance.
Downsides: the old hotel has a weird layout, it’s hard to navigate and although there is an elevator, I still had to drag luggage up some stairs and through narrow corridors. No onsite parking so you have to pay extra to park, and again you have to carry luggage around."
"Stayed here during IMSA race weekend at Laguna Seca — at $120+/night, expectations were modest but the value still felt like a stretch. Amenities are bare bones: soap only, no mini fridge (available for an extra nightly charge), and no housekeeping for our four-night stay — you have to swap towels and sheets yourself at the front desk during the day.
That said, the room was genuinely clean, and as a non-smoker who is very sensitive to cigarette smell, I can honestly say there was zero smoke odor — a pleasant surprise for a Motel 6. If you're just looking for a place to crash during a busy race weekend and can manage without the extras, it gets the job done."
"The dragging of bags in & out of buildings was terrible, we had to take an elevator & walk through 2 buildings to get to our room & go outside between buildings- some buildings did not connect making it even harder to find the room, would not recommend this for mostly this reason- people move & helpful, room clean & quiet"
"The room was ok for the price. Inside was tired, needs updating. The bed was comfortable, it’s a shame there is a throw as part of the bedding which obviously doesn’t get washed after each guest, just the sheet underneath does.
It was noisy with guests standing outside of the room talking on the phone, but again - we didn’t expect much for the price.
Very close to shops, cafes and restaurants in the industrial park across the road. All in all it served a purpose for one night, if you don’t want to splash out more money on accommodation."
