"This was a wonderful place to stay! The home was reasonably priced, very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—close to beautiful hiking trails and bike trails, making it an ideal home base. We really appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the host's helpfulness! It was comfortable, convenient, and a great value. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Vrbo. :)"

"We enjoyed our 5 day stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, quaint, quiet, and historic. It is centrally located to get to several state parks and New River Gorge National Park sites.We had all that we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and A/C unit in hallway worked well with the ceiling fans. The view is wooded out back, a house a ways off on one side, and gorgeous mountain view and historic stone house out the bedroom window. The only thing I would suggest is blackout curtains or blinds for windows for more of a private feel, to block out outside lights, and block sun.We put a blanket over curtains and that worked well. We would definitely want to stay here again. So nice to experience simpler living in gorgeous WV. It was "almost heaven!""

"You can beat this place. A very nice remote cabin not far from Summersville Lake. We didn't see or hear any people while we were there. I did hear a rooster in the distance and saw several deer each evening. It was very clean and there's a washer, dryer and hot tub. Thank you for letting us stay there."
New River Gorge Riverview Home in Meadow Creek. 3 bedroom, 1 bath, fenced yard

"Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am. The owner instantly approved our request and provided good instructions for the stay. We loved the misty mountain view in the mornings from the front porch. It’s about a 100 yard walk to the New River, with boat access. Most of the time the area is very quiet and serene. This was our first trip to the New River Gorge, and I definitely think we’ll be back."
