Cozy Casita with Nearby Lake Whiney Access

New construction 320 sq ft tiny house in quiet community with lake access from community boat launch or from Walling Bend Park, just 5 minutes away. House includes fully stocked kitchenette with 2-burner induction cooktop, multi-function microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. The 55" smart tv will keep you in touch and the quiet HVAC will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The propane Weber grill is easy to access on the large outside deck. You can enjoy stargazing while roasting marshmallows over the firepit. There is ample parking for your boat. The lake can be accessed by foot at the rear of the property for fishing or swimming.
Please note that during 2025 there will be periodic construction on the cabin remodel on the adjacent property. You will still have unfettered lake access and no construction should take place after 5:00pm or on weekends. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

Cozy casita has become our favorite getaway experience by far. From the cold water, snack bar to the dishes provided for cooking. This property has it all!! We appreciate that the AC was on when we arrived and how clean the entire casita felt. We are already looking into booking our next stay to enjoy the lake view as we came for a wedding nearby and missed out on a potential fishing spot. Lovely property and can not go wrong with Cozy Casita.

Fishing trip highlight

The property was extremely nice, clean, and stocked with essentials. The fish were not biting for us, so this was the highlight of our father-son trip. Will consider staying here again if in the area.

Great spot to stay. Owners super cool. Private boat ramp access. Fair warning its steeper than normal depending on what your use to but is totally usable. House is extremely cozy and perfect for what we needed. 20 minute drive to good food if you dont feel like cooking. Everything needed for a weekend on the lake.

We got to meet our host who is wonderful and friendly. This was our second weekend there . We loved it so much we had to stay again 😄. Lake is wonderful to swim in and our stay was quiet and cozy. Hope to stay again soon.

Great comfortable quiet getaway.

We had a very nice getaway at this cabin! It was very clean and well equipped with coffee, snacks, water, etc. It had a generous sized deck for lounging and a fire pit for those cool evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was very clean upon arrival, and Byron even let us check in an hour earlier bc our drive went smoother than we thought. Everything we needed was in the cabin. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

This little Casita was perfect for a couple days of fishing at Lake Whitney and t(e Brazos river. The place was really clean and well equipped. The only negative is it’s on the west side of the lake so it’s hike to get to a grocery store, but I knew that going in since we owned a property in a near by development several years ago. No complaints here…would stay there again.
