"Such a fun family getaway! We live in NYC, and this was the perfect distance for a relaxing escape. The location was incredible, just about 100 steps from the sand, with calm waters for the kids and plenty of space to enjoy the beach without the crowds.The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated with the cutest beachy touches, and stocked with everything we needed, including extra towels and pillows. And the ice machine was amazing. We used it every day, and now my husband insists we need one at home! We absolutely loved our stay!"

"First, I have to say that this was the most fully stocked rental I have ever stayed in! There were tea bags, K-Cups, and so many thoughtful extras. The house was also obviously freshly renovated and very clean.The layout was a little awkward, with the only shower being downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs. The fenced-in area for pets in the back was also somewhat difficult to access from the house because the fences/gates open in the opposite direction.I was a little surprised when the owner emailed me requesting an additional 92 for my pups. The listing stated that the property was pet-friendly, and there was no notice indicating that there would be an additional pet fee. I would have appreciated knowing about the fee upfront when making the reservation.Overall, though, the house was very clean, well-stocked, and clearly cared for."

Communication was fabulous and I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating John was when we left something behind. The home is a perfect blend of historical charm and modern conveniences (the kitchen, especially, had everything we needed!) It was a very easy walk into town, yet close enough to the highway. We hope to return soon."

"The cottage is quaint, comfortable and everything you could want for an overnight stay or a weekend getaway, or longer! Charming cottage decor, beautiful gardens, nice full kitchen, which Robin thoughtfully has stocked with coffee and half and half should you need a cup in the morning to start your day. A queen bedroom, 1 full bath (also stocked with all of the things should you have forgotten any of yours, including nice cotton robes!) twin daybed, and couch were perfect for myself, my daughter and small dog. Yes, dogs are welcome!The location is 5 minutes from Clinton center, close to beaches and restaurants, etc.Highly recommend this gem of a cottage!"
