Fabulous lake property rental
Lake View Apartment on Lake Wylie is a wonderful rental. In the lead up to our trip from Oregon we had some adversity and reached our to James and he was extremely prompt and considerate in text and phone conversations. The location and amenities on the gated property were many. Firepit time next to the lake was spectacular. We paid extra for an awesome pontoon cruise and would schedule a cruise again. The apartment has what we needed to dine in and save but many options close by for eating out. Very quiet and peaceful with wildlife surrounding us. We would book again with 1-2 extra days just to use the hosts water equipment and amenities we didn't have enough time for this trip. The Hosts make this rental a top tier experience instead of just good lodging. Highly recommend you try this rental you will be pleased you did. Drew & Marni.

Absolutely a dream.
Sunrise over the lake with coffee. The host even loaned my husband a jacket he forgot to pack. birds, turtles, and a beautiful heron. Spotless with everything you need. So close to our daughter who is expecting her second. We will be back

The location was nothing shirt of magnificent...right on the lake .use of kayaks, etc. Fire pits to use. The 2 BR guest house was extremely thoughtfully furnished for guests. The best rental I have ever had.

PERFECT Experience!
This property is spectacular and the hosts are just such kind, accommodating and thoughtful folks. I felt welcomed and super comfortable. I had extended family visit me during my stay and James and Sue welcomed them as well. it was so nice to have a place to put their boat on the dock. Super comfy place with all the things needed. And loved the deck with table and chairs to watch sunrise and sunsets. This morning James carried paddle board down to lake for me and made sure I had all I needed. What a gloriously calm lake which was perfect for paddle boarding. Highly recommend staying some during the week when less boats. It was a perfect combination to have fun boating time on the weekend when there's lots going on and also a quiet time on the lake during the week. Add some extra days to your stay - you'll be glad you did. I'll definitely be back often to make more lovely memories. This is how a rental should be done!

Lake Wylie/Charlotte
Me and my 12 year old son were coming to Charlotte to watch the Chelsea FC soccer match and wanted to make a mini vacation of it. So we opted rent the guest house at Lake Wylie and we were glad we did. Photo's almost don't do the house justice. 2 good sized bedrooms, a great shower with bath, living room area and Kitchen. But the setting of the house on the lake is EVERYTHING. James is the perfect host providing access to kayaks, paddle boards and the swimming deck. We were only a 30 minute drive from Charlotte and the BOA Stadium and also headed up to Lake Norman to rent a Jet Ski one afternoon which was 40 minutes away. We wanted to visit the White Water Rafting training center which was only 15-20 minutes away but ran out of time because we had so much fun at the lake on Lake Wylie. Fantastic stay! Will be back.

Wonderful location
I was there with my 92 year old mother who was visiting from France. We both love to swim and the location was perfect for that. We stayed two weeks. Our host was great. The only thing missing was the lack of a washing machine. Our host offered to do our laundry for us. There were kayaks and paddle boards at our disposal, but we did not use as we were a bit old for those.. The house is steps from the lake.We had a great time.

Peaceful Easy Feeling
The property proved perfect for a long weekend getaway to attend a friend’s wedding. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating and the check in/check out procedure was simple and stress free. The apartment is situated on a beautifully landscaped, well tended property and the views of the lake and surrounding wooded areas were beautiful. The property is secure and secluded but the privacy did not come at a cost to convenience. There are ample shops and restaurants within a brief drive with all of the Charlotte metropolitan area only a few minutes away. The apartment itself is relatively small but more than sufficient for several people with two spacious bedrooms. The property was very clean and well maintained and the space is tastefully furnished with everything one might need or want to enjoy any length stay. A comfortable deck with lake views provided a comfortable location for morning coffees or evening libations. The lake and dock are within a few steps and there are a couple of fire pits with comfortable seating as well for your enjoyment. It was a very comfortable and beautiful location that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a private but convenient location to stay while visiting the Charlotte area.

We could relax by the lake upon returning from touring interesting sites and visiting family. It was too cold in December to take advantage of the water toys James and Sue offered. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Great little place.

The property was very clean and accommodated all our needs. Kitchen and bathroom had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. James and Sue were very kind and welcoming. We were in the area house hunting and they gladly spent time explaining the Lake Wylie area and even showed us some properties via boat. They were very gracious.
