"I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Norfolk Downtown, and I have to give the biggest shoutout to the incredible team who made my experience truly wonderful: Dianna, Maria, Barbara, and Mr. Willis. From the moment I arrived, each of them showed such kindness, patience, and genuine care. Travel can be stressful, especially when plans change unexpectedly, and they went out of their way to make everything easier. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful every single time I walked through the lobby. Dianna and Maria were absolute stars at the front desk, welcoming, thoughtful, and always ready to help with a smile. Barbara brought such a calming, friendly energy that instantly made the hotel feel like home. And Mr. Willis was exceptional, professional, gracious, and truly dedicated to making sure guests are taken care of. It’s not often you find a team like this. They turned a tough travel situation into a positive, comforting experience, and I am deeply grateful for each of them. I cannot recommend this location enough, not just for the convenience and comfort, but for the people who make all the difference. "This is my second time staying at this property in the last year, and I will certainly be coming back. The rooms are spacious and very nice. I love the peacefulness of the balcony and convenience of having a kitchen with everything needed already supplied. The location is very convenient with regard to Busch Gardens and the historic area of Williamsburg, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Can’t wait for the next trip! "

"Room was exceptionally clean. Check-in staff for courteous and knowledgeable. Continental breakfast looked amazing but it was so crowded we could never sit down to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We took our coffee and went for a wonderful walk around the grounds."
