"Had to wait at reception for staff to appear! Rang bell 3 times. Knocked on door marked private. Called out. Phoned property, rang in front of me - no one answered. Sent message. Finally someone arrived from one of the hallways but passed us and went into breakfast room with out saying anything. Then came back out to check us in. No apologies. Also we paid for breakfast but next morning my husband was very sick, had been up all night vomiting, so I had breakfast alone and did not get refunded for my husbands breakfast! "

"The hotel was first class and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. My brother and I stayed here whilst visiting our family graves from world war one and it is a great base for visiting the sites. "
