"This cabin is BEAUTIFUL!! From the stone exterior to the river view, it was nothing less perfect. Check in was effortless, everything we needed to relax was available. We did have trouble finding extra linens for the pull-out beds, but made due with what we could find without complaint. The fire pit was probably the heart of our stay. We spent each night sitting around it enjoying the flora and fauna as the sun set and colored the sky and river. We even had deer come straight up to the patio while we were sitting there! Our stay was a "Momcation" for us to get away, relax, and recharge and this cabin was the perfect environment to do just that. We are already planning a return trip in the Spring!!"

"The cabin was very clean and well furnished with modern appliances and bathrooms. Peaceful, private and quiet location. Everything worked flawlessly! The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Exactly what we wanted. Went to Steelville for dinner about 10 minutes away and had a Jam Burger at Rich's Famous Burgers. Owner is very accessible and attentive as well! Would definitely book again! Thanks Cindy!"

"Sunrise Cabin is just what my husband and I needed to relax! The location is perfect with a relatively short walk to the Metamec River where we took a dip to cool off from the afternoon heat. The property offers floating which we didn’t take advantage of THIS TIME! But guaranteed we will next time! The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to make small snacks to full on meals. The view from both porches was spectacular. And the hot tub was a nice bonus to our relaxation! We ABSOLUTELY recommend this property and can’t wait to plan our next getaway!"

"Our room was spacious and clean. It featured a comfortable upholstered chair with ottoman and a small table and chair that could be used for dining. The bed linens were clean and crisp; the mattress was very comfortable and afforded a restful sleep. The bed pillows were plump and ample. There was plenty of room in the bathroom and the towels were soft and fluffy. The continental breakfast offered the usual cold options and we were pleasantly surprised to find a warmer with biscuits, gravy and scrambled eggs. the dining area was pleasant and spacious. Staff was very friendly, kind, and assistive. We highly recommend this motel and will stay here again on future trips to the Cuba, MO, area. Thanks so much!."
