"This cabin is beautiful! We wanted to do a float trip but didnt want to stay in tents or the typical small cabins that make up the majority of this area. This cabin made our float trip feel very luxorious! Bird's Nest Lodge came and picked us up and dropped us off directly from the driveway, and their 6 mile float was perfect! This place has a wonderful secluded feel, but is only a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. The cabin itself is beautiful inside and out. Had plenty of beds and space for the 10 adults in our party. I can only speak for the master bedroom on the main level, but the bed was very comfortable! We spent a lot of time out back, and the patio and fire pit are great for enjoying the outdoors. I even set up a projector and screen to enjoy a movie outside (plenty of outdoor outlets). Very nice kitchen and living room area as well. Will definitely be coming back here, and i hope to make it a yearly event for us!"

"Loved the cabin it had everything we needed and more. Not a big fan of old movies. Great kitchen and the hot tub was very nice."

"Cabin was cozy but laid out in very functional manner. Sheltered patio was great to eat meals on and hangout. Very close to the river. Water was only about 1’ deep with 2-3’ pockets, perfect for kids to play and explore. Saw a bald eagle nearby . "

"Great location and loved having 2 en suites. Had small issue late one evening. Owners were there and issue resolved in less than an hour. Couldn’t ask for a faster response/outcome. Would definitely stay again."

"A near idyllic setting to momentarily step away from the demands of daily life. We had some folks looking for Power of Hope equestrian center wander right into the cabin early one morning, but that was funny more than anything. There were signs in the kitchen drawers that we weren't the only residents of the cabin, but despite that, it still felt clean, and I wouldn't mind returning. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here, it was peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, I slept well. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the goldfish pond is awesome, I also enjoyed using the hot tub. The river is close and there is a grocery store about four miles away in Steelville. I didn't go anywhere, was pleasant enough to just relax at the cabin."
