We only stayed one night here to relax in the Spa after an eventful weekend. The service is really good and the hotel is quiet for its size. The spa area was very nice. Unfortunately, Vendôme was not bookable but their Italian restaurant was lovely. The breakfast was good, a lot of variety but we had better in other 5 star hotels. All in all we had a great time and would come again for a quiet getaway.

The breakfast was amazing. The uniqueness of the food offerings and assortment was perfect. The large soaking tub was nice. Nice dinner/lunch food choices right out side as well. There is a Rewe about 1km away in case you need any supplies.

This is an amazing hotel in an old, historical property. The staff were helpful, professional and spoke excellent English. There are plenty dining opportunities. The rooms were clean, the bedding comfortable and nice. Extra bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful Hotel

This is a very impressive hotel. No detail is left out. From the service on check in to the restaurant and bar all was excellent. Be sure to make dinner reservations as it was booked on our arrival. However, we had a great meal and exceptional service having dinner at a hi top on the bar.

A true classic, five star hotel with everything you could wish for and Amelia functioning perfectly. From the furnishings to the layout to the views to the location to the grounds, even to the small town just steps outside of the hotel property it is paradise. Add to this add to this the extraordinary restaurant offerings and proximity to cologne by urban transit. It makes for an extraordinary stay.

This place is just amazing. The reality is even better than the pictures, it has to be seen to be believed. I've never stayed anywhere like this before. Great staff, great food, the local area has some nice restaurants, not too hard to get to Cologne (it's at the end of tram line 1). The wifi was a bit inconsistent but that's fairly common. I'm definitely going back.

This was hands down the best experience with a hotel my partner and I have ever had. Our flights got changed and our luggage was lost (coming from the USA), but the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the entire mess. Not only were the staff pleasant, the hotel itself is beautiful. My partner and I were enthralled to experience such a gorgeous building during our first out of country travel. If given the chance, we would happily stay here again. Worth every penny.
