About a 15 minute walk to the Dom Cathedral and close to the train station. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Rooms are small but normal for Europe. No Kleenex and no changing of our water glasses. Breakfast good.

I loved the aesthetic of this hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly at check in. Great aircon, comfortable bed and really quiet. Good supermarket one side, Asian restaurant the other and bars opposite with tables outside. Lovely communal area on ground floor of hotel if you preferred that. Was easy to walk to the cathedral and old town but a bit away from the hectic tourist bustle. Loved it!

From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful and friendly and welcoming. The hotel is excellently maintained and immaculately clean. Free coffee and water are available at all times and the breakfast was really good.

Our room was really nice, we had lovely views and the room was fully sound proofed to allow for a restful night. The hotel is in the heart of the city with only a few mins walk to local attractions and sightseeing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, super friendly and helpful staff, always focused on your necessities. Specially Angie who also speak Spanish!!!! Amazing. All the staff made me feel as I was staying with good friends. I was a little worry about the location of the hotel, right next to the train tracks could be noisy at night, but the acoustic isolation of rooms it's excellent. I barely eared the trains and I slept very good all nights.

I don’t normally rate hotels excellent across the board but Urban Lofts excelled in every way. We were greeted by Florian the assistant Manager who took the time to explain all the amenities for the property. His sense of humour and manner were perfect. The manager Friedrich spoke with us at the bar about Koln its history and places to eat and must see places. In fact all the interactions with the staff were top notch. Everything about the property was above reproach and an absolute bargain for the service received. We would stay here again without a second thought!

Very clean & modern hotel close to train station. We loved the room. Except for, the AC wasn’t working. (possibly turned off for the season? we don’t know, but in mid Sept it was still needed.) Also the neighborhood was pretty noisy at night, difficult for light sleepers.

Excellent hotel in Cologne. Bed & Shower fab. If you walk through the train station, you will exit with the wonderful cathedral in view. I will be honest & say it is in a slightly dicey location but we had no problems at all so would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay; clean room, very accommodating staff. I arrived very early (9:30 am) off a red eye flight and the front desk was able to get me into my room right away, which was absolutely incredible. Loved having water available in the lobby at all times and found the location to be perfect for everything we wanted to do during our two day stay Also, rooftop bar was perfect to enjoy our late night snacks
