We stayed at Legend Hotel in Cologne for two nights. The location is excellent, with many sights and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was modern, clean and cozy, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom also very nice. Unfortunately, the room was quite warm and the controls didn’t seem to cool it down properly, and nearby construction noise made it hard to sleep with the window open.

Hotel Legend is a wonderful and clean hotel with very modern furnishings. Located near restaurants, the Dom, and metro stations, it's the perfect place to stay. The restaurant downstairs closes at a reasonable time so the noise isn't too bad after closing, but you can hear the restaurant while it's open. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks

So helpful and allowed us to get into the rooftop deck early in the morning for a small photo shoot. Very nice but definitely return.

Great small hotel in Cologne

A very comfortable and stylish place to stay in the middle of Cologne. The staff was very nice and helpful, our room had a good size for just a few nights, a huge advantage is the clever storage and wardrobe solution. The bed was so comfy and overall high-quality materials were used. Also a quiet place at night! Breakfast was small, but still absolutely sufficient and a good variety. Would really recommend The Legend Hotel!

I would never stay at The Legend Hotel in Cologne again. When I called the hotel directly, they promised to work with me and refund my stay after a serious emergency — I had been robbed, lost my passports, and had to leave Germany immediately because the U.S. Embassy there was closed. Their promise gave me some peace of mind at a terrible moment. But when I contacted Expedia, the hotel suddenly changed its story and refused to honor their word. Because of this, I had to take an emergency trip costing over $800 just to get an emergency passport in another country. The hotel management lied to me and showed zero compassion or integrity. Do not trust this hotel. If you value honesty and decency, look elsewhere — there are plenty of better, more honorable places to stay in Cologne.

This hotel was so elegant and modern! Very conveniently located close to the train station, Cologne Cathedral, old town, shopping, dining, the Rhine, etc. There is an onsite restaurant and rooftop terrace with lovely views of the city, and a subway station right underneath the hotel. We did not need to use the subway, however, as everything was in walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed the loft room with a clear view of the cathedral. Only concern I'd highlight is staying here in the heat of summer, particularly in one of the lofts because the sunlight in the lofts make the rooms quite warm but we just left the windows open since it was ~55-65F outside during our stay.

We had a room with roof windows, it was very stylish. You could see the Rathaus building in the window. The hotel was easy to find from the train station. It is modern and cozy, facing a plaza with dozens of dining options. We spent here only one night, wish we could stay longer. The windows can open, but when shut you don't hear street noises.

Really excellent hotel in a great location of the old market. Close to the main shopping area, tourist attractions and public transport. Hotel room decoration and presentation was perfect. Roof top terrace was a nice surprise where you get an excellent view of the cathedral. Only downside was the air conditioning. It was either too weak to cool the room down on a hot summers day or it was faulty.

The room was large for our family of four. A convenient walk to the cathedral, shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was wonderful. The free cold water and coffees were a plus given that the previous hotels we stayed in Europe were charging fees for water. Service was very good all around. We would return there again.
