Hotel and staff where great, Plenty of choice for breakfast which was included in our stay for free. If you're coming for the Christmas Markets be aware hotel is a 20min cab ride from them and city centre.

This hotel was very convenient to Cologne and Bonn. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The free breakfast was delicious. The umbrella rental was wonderful as it was raining outside those days. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Short city break

Hotel in a great location by car and also a short (10/15 minute) walk to the nearest metro station to then then explore the more central area of Cologne. The hotel breakfast was excellent and for further food/goods there is a McDonalds next door and a petrol station with a well stocked shop.

Good hotel but out of the way

Comfortable,clean room. Helpful efficient staff. Excellent breakfast.Surprisingly quiet in view of the hotel’s position (and the time of year-Carnival). Our only complaint would be re position. This hotel is a little out of the way.

would not stay there again

poor service by reception staff and house keeping the lift wasn't working and at my age to climb 5 floor was not easy as i suffer from Asma also the house keeping dint clean the coffee cups and dint leave fresh milk and coffee when i complained to the reception they brought it up with no apology reception was hardly covered so we could get any details on the lift breakfast was poor with orange watered down overall poor

Good stay bar size of the room

The hotel is very welcoming and I could not fault the staff. The lobby, bar and breakfast area is good and despite what others have said about the lack of hot food, we really liked the breakfast on offer. My kids especially enjoyed the pancake machine. However, I should have paid more heed to other reviews about the family rooms being small. We are two adults and two kids 7 and 5, and the family room was totally cramped, we could not move between or around the beds and there was next to no space for our stuff. The location is a little out of town but we had no problems using public transport and there was a McDonalds beside the hotel and a very good German restaurant around the corner.
