About this property

house in the green - just 10 minutes from the cathedral and 20 minutes by car to the airport

  • On a former site of the Federal Railroad is our large house, which is surrounded by a garden with mature trees. Ideal to relax after a stay in Cologne in a quiet atmosphere. In 2019 we renovated part of the house and provided 4 guest rooms. The garden can be barbecued or simply chilled at the various seats in the sun. Let yourself be pampered by the botanical garden of the house.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit künstlerischem Flair

Wunderbar gelegene Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Köln mit einem großen Garten. Im selben Gebäude befindet sich neben den Ferienwohnungen auch ein getrennter Bereich mit einem Atelier und weiteren Galerieräumen. Hier können auch künstlerische Workshops mit Übernachtungen angeboten werden. Herzlichen Dank auch an unseren sympathischen Vermieter Ralf Ahrens, der uns als direkter Nachbar immer mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung gestanden hat. Die Wohnungen sind im Übrigen auch barrierefrei und behindertengerecht eingerichtet.

Nicht weiter zu empfehlen! Inserat entspricht nicht der Realität!

Angekommen bei der angegebenen Adresse mussten wir ersteinmal lange nach dem Haus suchen,es gab weder Hausnummer,noch Klingelschild oder ähnliches. Auf unsere Anmerkung,dass es schwierig zu finden sei,sagte man uns,dass dies so gewollt war. Nett wäre im vorwege gewesen eine genaue Wegbeschreibung zu bekommen,zumindest einen Hinweis darauf,dass sich das Haus auf einem versteckten Grundstück befindet. Wir waren mit fünf Erwachsenen angereist und haben zwei Zimmer gestellt bekommenen. Dies war besprochen worden und in Ordnung für uns. Da drei Zimmer inseriert sind,fragte ich,was mit dem dritten sei,wenn wir nur zwei bekommen und ob es an weitere vergeben wird. Dies wurde verneint. Da es als Esszimmer dienen soll. Angekommen,stellte sich jedoch heraus,dass doch noch andere Mieter hinzukommen. Die angeblichen Doppelbetten waren viel zu klein für zwei Erwachsene. Die „Badezimmer“ glichen einer Toilette und Waschzelle auf einer Raststätte. Von der nicht vorhandenen Sauberkeit ganz zu schweigen.Es gab mehrere Wasserhähne über einer langen Wascherinne,diese verfügten lediglich über Kaltwasser. Eine Therme konnte über eine Steckdose angeschlossen werden,welches allerdings auch die einzige Steckdose im Raum war. Über all diese Dinge hätte man ja irgendwie noch hinweg sehen können,wäre die Gastgeberin nicht so derart unfreundlich und unverschämt gewesen. Auf die Nachfrage mit der Vermietung an die anderen Bewohner sagte sie nur,dass wir ja schon vor drei Monaten kommuniziert haben,dass keine weiteren Leute mit in der Wohnung wären und das sich ja seitdem noch Dinge ändern können...es ging ja aber grundsätzlich darum,dass man die Wohnung für sich haben wollte. Sie war keineswegs kritikfähig. Als ich die Gastgeberin auf die Dinge ansprach,die im vorwege besprochen wurden und nicht eingehalten wurden,sagte sie lediglich,wir können ja woanders hin gehen,wenn es uns nicht passt. Also wir waren alle sprachlos,hatten jedoch auch keine andere Möglichkeit unterzukommen,so nahmen wir alles mit einem unguten Gefühl in Kauf. Also ich würde die Unterkunft definitiv nicht weiter empfehlen.
