My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lindner. The hotel has an excellent location, close enough to the cathedral without the noise. I strongly recommend the hotel. The breakfast was also very good with a different variety of options.

Hotel was centrally located close the rail station which was 15 minutes from the airport. Cologne Cathedral was a five minute walk away. Our room was lovely and clean and a decent size compared to many city center hotels we have stayed in.

It was a very nice and beautiful hotel. The location of the hotel was also very convenient and within walking distance of the central trainstation,the cathedral,restaurants and shops.Check-in was very quick. And I also found the lovely,sweet,and friendly Mrs Gizem who helped me check in very nice and helpful.The room was very spacious for asingle room and had all the amenities .Especially a big TV with satellite channels. The bed was wonderful to sleep in and big enough for two people. I was alone.You could also choose between firm and soft pillows. And de room was cleaned every day. I also really liked the beautiful thick curtains that didn’t let any light through. I also found the bathroom nice and spacious with a bath and shower and other things. The breakfast was also very delicious and varied . And Mr.Hicheln and Mrs.Pamela always did something special for you almost everyday. They were very friendly and helpful to me. They sensed when I needed something. Also thanks to Mr.Mohamed and Mr. Mostafa who where also very kind to me if I asked for something. And I don’t won’t to forget who was serving me and also the people in the kitchen and who has cleaned my room. I will book this hotel again soon when I return to Cologne.Greetings Bert Zinken.

The rooms are okay. They’re clean and fairly comfortable. The area around the hotel is under long—term, heavy construction. No parking. Indifferent staff. The breakfast is just barely mediocre.

Can't really go wrong with the key basics.

The Lindner is not a luxury hotel but is very functional and extremely well positioned. In around a day and a half I was able comfortably to visit the cathedral, the river, the chocolate museum and the major shopping area, primarily by walking. I didn't use the hotel's restaurant but the menu looked good and had I stayed longer, most likely would have. I visited during cold weather and the heating in the room was very efficient. As with many european hotels, TV channels were not for English speakers, unless all you wish to view are news channels. This means that those with kids or solo travellers would be advised to take some pre-downloaded movies etc on a tablet. or some such. Or make sure you have a VPN so you can view your normal domestic channels. The staff were super, very accomodating and easy to talk with.

Would not recommend this hotel, whilst the location is convenient if travelling via train and for the cathedral, the hotel is very dated! So dated, there is no wifi and even photo data seems to have a black spot there. The hallways smelt of smoke. The photos of the property certainly seem like they are from a distant past.

Super tolles Hotel. Mit tollen Personal. Küche super. Frühstück war super lecker. Zimmer sehr schön und gemütlich. Nur parken war mit 7 sitz Auto etwas eng und unübersichtlich aber im ganzen komme gerne wieder. Tolles Pool mit Sauna und Fitnessstudio.

Trevligt hotel. Nära till restauranger och bra frukost. Balkongen var trevlig att sitta på och AC´n fungerade bra. Personalen va trevlig, rekommenderar detta hotel då det va väldigt prisvärt!
