The property was quiet and peaceful. Even with other cabin there it felt private. The sunsets were beautiful while setting and relaxing on the deck. Communication with host was good. Would like to come back sometime and stay in other cabin on property.
Nice little property tucked up in the mountains. Nice cool mornings and had one morning with a view of four deer. Will look into staying again when in the area.
We enjoyed the secluded neighborhood and the visits from the wildlife. It was just as advertised and the perfect getaway!

Great little cabin. Although there is another cabin nearby it feels secluded and you have privacy. It is a great spot for a couple or a family with small children. Lots of wildlife and great views. Hostess was super friendly and a pleasure to visit with . Would definitely stay here again
Nice little cabin on a property with everything you need. Great views and great hiking. My dog and I loved staying there. The stars at night and all the wildlife were beautiful. The host was very responsive and very accommodating. We will be back soon.
Loved this little cabin! It was nicely decorated and very clean. It was a nice little getaway! The owners responded very quickly to any messages and questions we had.
My sister and I had such a lovely stay here for a long weekend. The cabin is cozy and tucked away from the beaten path. We both enjoyed the grounds and views. The pull out couch could use replaced, but otherwise very comfortable.
This was the perfect little space for an overnight getaway for us! Very comfortable, clean, and welcoming! The fall colors, the clear night sky full of stars, the warming wood stove- all perfect!
There are some amazing rock formations all around the little cabin

The owners were wonderful! Excellent communication and information. The cozy cabin was perfect for our family and incredibly clean! We loved every min and are planning next year’s trip! We even had a large buck that walked right by the cabin in the mornings. AWESOME!!
Perfect clean private cozy cabin, warm with the old fashion wood stove, Very functional with everything needed in the galley style kitchen. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Enjoyed walking on and around scenic property with huge rock formations. Stayed in didn’t want to leave. The snow was very fresh and made this a perfect short but sweet getaway. My husband and I found the perfect place to enjoy quiet time from the city and enjoy God’s creation, we will definitely be back.
Cozy cabin was a wonderful experience. Very secluded. It's very much as pictured with tons of charm. Loved the rustic decorating. It is a great location to visit the fossil beds, wolf santuary, Mueller State Park, and Cripple Creek. Fishing also close by. The owner has created an overlook (perch) with table & chairs with beautiful views of the area. We saw mule deer, fox and elk in the area. Perfect for 2 people. Owner is great to work with and keeps things in great condition, we really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at the cozy cabin for our honeymoon and we really enjoyed it. There was something so Serene and calming about being up in the mountains away from everyone and all the city noise. We were so relaxed. The cabin was a comfortable size. It was great to be able to spend lazy days in there that had great internet connection and it was in a reasonable location so you could get to and from lots of major attractions. The one thing we would say that we would recommend is the showers being a little bit longer. We understand with the size of the hot water tank they can be a little shorter, but for two people staying we think it could possibly make it more comfortable if the showers could run a couple minutes longer. But overall we loved the cabin and if we came back to Colorado would definitely look into booking it again!!!!
I loved it here so much. Such a perfect and geniusly designed cabin flush with amenities. The trails around florissant were so fun to explore (just me and my dog). My only wish was that there had been a photo of how close the other cabin is as I wasn't expecting such close proximity. I get anxious and don't want to bother anyone so I also couldn't figure out how to explore the property with folks on each side and behind me. I'd love to try the other cabin sometime! I had zero issues (although the shower did freeze me out after 2-3mins and I hadn't used any hot water all day - otherwise I didn't use it), and didn't want to leave! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property and for letting my dog be with me!
The Good:
The short climb/hike to the upper deck provided an amazing view with the colligate mountains peaking into view in the distance. There was plenty of opportunities to explore the property, but most of the property is a little more on the difficult side for inexperienced hikers unless you stick to the road.
The cabin was well stocked to prepare a meals for one or two. As others have said, it is only a microwave and cooktop, so no frozen pizza 😊
The electric heater worked great, and kept the cabin very comfortable, even when the temps dipped at night.
The Wi-Fi was perfect.
The not so good:
The key pad did not work, and there was only a key tied to a pot with a string available to lock the cabin. This did cause some security concerns, but the cabin is remote enough that we felt secure enough to leave our personal items in the cabin while we were out and about for the day. We did advise the management of such and were advised to leave the key whenever we left.
The shower has a waterfall shower head...normally this would be great, but the water heater is small, so the high flow of water leads to about only a 5 minute shower before it gets very cold. The Mr was OK with that, the Mrs not so happy.
All in all it was a great get away for us and the price is fitting for the stay.
Hidden, not too far from many attractions and outdoor activities. Perfect location for a long weekend getaway! Great experience with the host too. Thank you!
