"The house had everything we needed for our three night stay. The weather went down into the 60s overnite so we really didn’t need to use the window AC units but if it got warm during the day they worked great. We especially enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit for smores one night. Very quiet area and a good location for access to the parks and the rail trail and Wellsboro. Some others mentioned road noise as the house is right next to route 6 but we didn’t find it to be a problem, especially if you run a fan. The host is very responsive if you have any questions. We had a great trip!"
Cozy Cabin in the Woods

"We looked for the perfect place to stay near Wellsboro / Mansfield for our reunion/ mom’s weekend, and found the perfect spot! This cabin was spotless and felt luxurious, yet, still a lovely cabin in the woods. The little touches like the guest book, local coasters, game, and decor set the tone for a homey, comfortable, fun, and relaxing time. Wellsboro was close for meals, shopping, and the views of the Pa. Wilds are always a welcome sight. We had one issue with an immediate response from the owner. The porch and outside chairs were comfortable and the fire pit did its job.Overall, 10/10 and we even talked through how we would bring our own family back to stay in fall."

"We felt very comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. It was very clean and you could tell the owners took pride in the place and wanted people to enjoy their stay. A couple of recommendations: A deck on the back of the house, which is the most private space, would be nice. Also, we would prefer a firmer mattress. But these are minor issues and we will definitely think of returning and recommend it highly."

"Ken, the host, was awesome. The VRBO website wouldn’t allow us to modify our reservation, but Ken handled what VRBO couldn’t. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, and guided us to the perfect locations that met all our requests. The apartment had every amenity we needed. Hopeful to hear details on the dates for the haunted trail they host in the fall."

"This is a wonderful relaxing spot on the Pine Creek. The cabin was clean and neat with amenities as listed. The screened in porch was our favorite spot as well as the easy access to Pine Creek. Close to the rail trail and to Wellsboro. There was a mix-up in the check-in code and address, but once we got in, we loved our stay! Would not hesitate to book this one again!"

"Fully stocked house in a perfect location. Peaceful quiet surroundings with mountain views. Trail is a short bike ride to/from the house. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Ceiling fans in every room was a plus to circulate the air. Front and back doors have screens, so on cooler days, let some fresh air in. I enjoyed my time there and will be back. I have stayed at other houses and lodging in the area, this property is by far the best at a very reasonable price."
