"We had an overall great stay, but there are definitely a few things to be aware of before booking. The room was clean and the Deluxe Suite had an amazing view overlooking the pool. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The outdoor pool was definitely the highlight for the kids—it was a great temperature, and they absolutely loved it. Poolside Gary was a big hit with all the kids! The pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The room itself was well set up, but the hotel is older and could use some updating. The bed was quite worn out, and the pull-out couch appeared to be the original. It wasn't really suitable for sleeping, so I ended up sleeping on the couch itself. I would say two adults trying to sleep on it would be too much. If you're staying in one of the suites, bring your own utensils, cups, bowls, and an oven pan. The room was great, but the kitchen supplies were very limited. The sauna and steam room were available but were only warm at best. There is also no elevator, so keep that in mind if you're staying on an upper floor. On the positive side, there was lots of parking and plenty to do in the surrounding area. One negative was that while most of the staff were fantastic, the boss/manager came across as pretty grumpy at times and seemed to take his frustration out on employees who were doing a great job, which was disappointing to see. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is definitely showing its age and needs some work,"

"If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Osoyoos area I would highly recommend walnut beach resort. The room was beautiful and the pool and private beach was too tier. Jack was an absolute delight to work with and made the day flow effortlessly. Not only worked with me but helped coordinate with the florist and other planners on site the day of. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our special night was everything we expected. A special shoutout to Dylan our server for keeping the drinks flowing the entire night and keeping the vibes positive! He literally went out of his way to make to make sure our night was extra special and for that we are forever grateful. I can’t say it enough but big thanks to everyone who took part in making our wedding night memorable and an absolute blast!! See y’all next year ;)"
