"Quiet and clean"

"Room have good amenities and really functional. Clean and have friendly Staff at the lobby. During our check out Aug.5,2025 @around 9:30 a nice Filipina lady at the counter offer us free granny apples. Make our day even brighter. Thank you Sandman for a nice stay with our dog Charlotte."

"It’s a two star room with a five star property and experience! What an interesting historical site and true family owned business experience. An idiosyncratic sight around every corner, and the ghost town has a massive pile of fascinating antiques, the roundhouse full of old train cars worth the half price admission when you book at the hotel. I wouldn’t get the train as an extra though. The food at the hotel is also two star but affordable and gets the job done. Overall, a truly one of a kind place and worth it as a museum of Trans Canada’s past. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights face no problems Parking may get full if you come little late in the night however still got a spot. Lady Staff was helpful to change my suite at lower level on request. Bed was comfortable. "

"Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Service at this hotel is always excellent and we are repeat customers. Poolside rooms are a treat, although the “little gates” From the balcony don’t open so you still have to walk into the building to get to your room. That’s a shame. We enjoy the resort like feel of the pool area and the excellent bar service. "

"I was surprised by the cleanliness of our room. Bed was comfortable and the room air conditioner kept the room cold, especially with how hot it was outside. The room had a weird layout with the only sink being located in front of the beds instead of the washroom. Staff were friendly and were accommodating. Pool looked to be decent but small. I found it to be very crowded. Lots of parking spaces which is nice. Options for the complimentary breakfast were lacking. Just your basic cereal, muffins, toast, pancakes, boiled eggs and bacon. There was also yogurt and maybe a protein bar. In terms of drinks, there was coffee and juice provided. I would however stay away from the boiled eggs. Myself and my friends had an upset stomach after eating them and we found ourselves on the toilet multiple times. All in all, the place was decent. I found it to be very clean and comfortable to stay in."
