Top Columbia State Historic Park Hotel Reviews
Heritage Inn Yosemite/Sonora
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay"
Gunn House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent day! Breakfast was super yummy with lots of options. Check-in was a breeze. Incredible location with the rest of the town, everything is walkable. Incredible history. Bathrooms were awesome. 10 out of 10."
Beautiful home on full acre of privacy just steps away from Columbia State Park
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at Craig’s house. It is essentially connected to Columbia State Historic Park. The horse-drawn stagecoach ride even passes the back of the property. All of the attractions are within walking distance. Inside, the house is clean, well thought out, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, there’s a tv and air conditioning/heating unit in nearly every room, and our little one loved sleeping and hanging out in the game room. Additionally, Craig’s a great host. He responded to our messages in a timely manner and answered all of our questions. We were very happy with our stay."

82 acre Mountain Retreat w/ Pool & Spa near Yosemite sleeps 14
10/10 Excellent
"Best family vacation spot! Came home from the lake everyday and had just as much fun at the house. Played bocce ball, played pool and played in the pool! Everyone had rooms which was awesome! Our “kids” 22-26-35 yr olds are already planning our next time here"
Hot Tub & Mtn Views: Peaceful Columbia Retreat!
8/10 Good
"The overall experience was beautiful. The listing was mostly accurate. We gave it a 4 for accuracy to listing due to their use of the words elegant, refined and remodeled. While the house was nicely decorated and the structures were as described the house had more wear and tear than these words might suggest. The appliances were quality brands, but often so well worn that they were difficult to use. It looked like it was remodeled 5- 10 years ago and is in need of some attention (paint peeling on baseboards, deck, half broken hot tub, stained outdoor chair cushions). Overall, great for a family house or summer retreat, but more worn than the elegant, refined and remodeled words convey. It is also in need of a deep clean, with the sofa in need of a vacuuming and the fans showing thick layers of dust. Beautiful view, windows and open spaces. Very close to the historic town of Columbia, we had a great time overall."
Beautiful Updated Home in Downtown Sonora
10/10 Excellent
"This home was perfect in every way: updated and clean throughout, lovely outdoor space, thoughtfully appointed kitchen with everything we needed, comfortable beds (with the softest sheets ever), a pack and play for our grandson, beautiful bathrooms, close enough to the downtown area that we could walk there each day. The house was even decorated with fresh red flowers and patriotic items for the 4th of July holiday. And then there were the unanticipated extras, like fresh milk and packets of oatmeal, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, or espresso, as well as numerous games and books to pass the time. We arrived too late to run by a grocery store on our way so these things were very appreciated, as was the generous supply of toiletries and paper goods provided. Peggy was great at communicating with us, and she made check in (and out) a breeze. We will definitely try to stay here again any time that we are back in the Sonora area!"
