Disappointing Stay: Unresolved Room Issues & Dishonest Front Desk Service Rating: 1 / 5 Stars We recently stayed here for a 4-day family trip to explore Pittsburgh and catch a baseball game, but the overall service and dishonesty from the staff completely ruined our experience. 1. Lack of Maintenance & Zero Follow-Through When we checked in on Thursday, we immediately discovered that the master bedroom was missing its window blind—leaving us with zero privacy. I reported it to the front desk right away. Because the hotel was fully booked, moving rooms wasn't an option, but they promised to check if someone could fix it. When we returned from dinner, there was no update. Asking again made it painfully clear that no one was actually working on a fix. I eventually had to ask for extra bedding just so I could hang a sheet over the window myself. Over the entire 4-day stay, staff never once gave us an update or attempted to resolve the issue. 2. Misleading Information Regarding Parking Far worse than the poor maintenance was the blatant dishonesty. When I inquired about parking for a car we were picking up on Friday, front desk staff insisted multiple times that valet at $44/night was my best option because the two cheaper adjacent lots were closing at 8:00 AM Saturday for "construction." This was false. The lots were never closed for construction—instead, the hotel hosted an outdoor wedding in that space. It was obvious the staff fabricated a story for the private event.

The hotel was adequate for the purpose of the trip.
