Very god hostel

Great hostel. Super friendly staff, nice people, great activities like common dinner, quiz night and so on. Very attentive when mentioning even the smallest things. Slightly cold in November, but to be expected.

Vibrant place to stay. Common areas require some makeover and caretaking, given the prices you pay for the accommodation. Some staff was welcoming, some to cool to bother for clients. Private room was spacious including a balcony. Room was clean. A good and atmospheric hostel at an astronomic price.

Great place especially for for solo travelling

Stayed here for my first time to Como and first time travelling as a solo female traveller. Very reasonably priced compared to other accommodations around Lake Como. The hostel is a 5-10 minute walk from the train and bus station and is right next to a supermarket which is very reasonably priced. It is a 5 minute walk to the ferry port and the centre of Como. Staff were very helpful throughout my stay - they recommended places to visit and places to eat. I stayed in the 5 bed female dorm which was clean, comfortable and secure. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveller and the hostel had good vibes all round. Would recommend this hostel to other travellers wanting to stay in Como

If you’re looking for a hostel type vibe with private rooms this is a really great option. Not a quiet place, hostel bar is open 24-7 so if it’s your vibe get after it. Not a huge fan of every amenity being an additional fee when on the booking site it’s written as if they are included. Just write ‘for a fee’ like the rest of the hotels in the area. Laundry 8 euros, bag storage 7 euros, etc.

I booked this place for the convenient location, and super high rating of the place. I am surprised that during our 2 nights in the hotel, the bar area was super noisy from around 9 pm till after midnight. The room was very noisy because of that and there is no way you can sleep with that kind of noise. I have tight schedule and need to get up early, so it makes very hard. I am kind of disappointed. The building is old. You have to carry the luggage yourself with the spiral stair. When the front desk people are available, they will help. But they manage both the front desk and the restaurant area, so they are not always available. I don't recommend people who have regular travel schedule to stay at this place.

Great staff, and a clean place to stay. But more importantly, it gave the opportunity for people to meet each other in the gardens which is great for solo travellers
