We had a fantastic time on our holiday in this house!
Giovanna was very helpful via email on the lead up to our stay. There were a few extra charges (for additional guests, parking, cleaning fee, deposit--which was returned) but she was clear and upfront about these costs. She was willing to help you book experiences while there, which was nice, but we did not take advantage of that.
Mr. Luigi greeted us and was immensely helpful in getting us sorted. He provided some amazing restaurant recommendations and helped us coordinate with Alfredo, who arranged parking of our van AND drove us to/from Amalfi and to the start of the Walk of the Gods hike (having a driver was a relief, as traffic on the coast is not for the faint of heart). Both Luigi and Alfredo made our stay SO much better--they were both incredibly helpful, punctual, and friendly. Luigi brought our luggage up on the first day and was very responsive when we had an issue with the door lock, sending repair the next day.
The house is fantastic, especially if you have multiple couples--rooms on different levels (hard to discern from these pics) provided an element of privacy, but still "togetherness". There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, 1 on the 2nd floor, 1 "cottage' and 1 bedroom by the pool. What I would consider the "master" upstairs has only a tub, no shower. One of the main floor rooms did have a bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom. The kitchen is well supplied (but who wants to cook with such amazing restaurants nearby?). There's also a laundry machine, nice sitting areas, and a great garden in back with fresh lemon trees. And, best part, the pool and deck are UNREAL. We spent most of our time at the house hanging in the pool and taking in the amazing views.
The caveat is that yes, you do have 182 stairs to climb to get to the house. If you're eating yourself crazy with pasta and gelato, this can be a good thing. But if you're not as mobile, those stairs are a rough go. Conca is a wonderful quiet little town in the midst of very touristy Amalfi and Positano. It's quiet and the local restaurant is fantastic (Bonta di Capo). If you're looking for quiet, this is your spot.
Overall, if you don't mind stairs, this is an awesome place for a group or family to have a glorious Amalfi Coast holiday.
