Villa Aria Alto — Pinarello, sea view, heated pool 29°C, sea-view sauna

Villa Aria Alto is a contemporary 230 m² villa with sea views, officially rated 5 stars, set at Aria Mezzana on the hillside above Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio in southern Corsica. Fautea beach is an eight-minute drive away.

The house has 5 bedrooms sleeping 12, each with its own shower room — which changes everything for an extended family or several couples: nobody queues, and everyone keeps their privacy.

Facing due south, it catches the sun all day. In the morning the sun rises straight out of the sea, in front of the terraces; in the evening the light settles on the mountains behind. It is a recent build, designed to be lived in outdoors.

THE POOL AND THE SPA

The pool measures 14.5 metres and stays heated to 29°C from late March to early November, and outside that period on request. This is what makes the villa work well beyond the summer months: in spring and autumn the water is still a pleasure, once the beaches have emptied out. It is fitted with a submerged safety cover. Its water is treated by salt electrolysis: lightly salted, it is gentle on skin and eyes.

There is also a sauna and a jacuzzi, both with panoramic sea views. The jacuzzi is heated to 37°C all year round, and you set the temperature to suit you.

LIVING SPACES

Two covered terraces extend the house: one arranged as a garden lounge, the other for dining, with a plancha grill. Being covered, they stay usable in full sun and in rain alike. A floodlit pétanque court completes the setting, for long evenings.

Every room has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a fitted wardrobe, a television and electric shutters. Connected speakers are installed throughout the house.

Bed linen, bath towels, pool and beach towels are provided.
An electric vehicle charging point is available on site (paid service).

THE SETTING

The bay of Pinarello and its Genoese tower are close by. Porto-Vecchio, the shops of Sainte-Lucie, the beaches of Fautea, San Ciprianu and Cala Rossa, and the Cavu valley with its natural rock pools are all a few minutes' drive away. Bonifacio and the Alta Rocca make comfortable day trips.
