Charming Cabin Nestled under Century Old Oak Tree on the Frio River-Terrace #2
Cozy cabin nestled along the beautiful Frio River with a deep swimming hole/lake area!
Enjoy Tubing, Fishing, Swimming, Kayaking and Campfires.
River Terrace Cabin #2 is a cute, cozy cabin nestled under shade trees, sitting above what Southern Living named “One of The Best Swimming Holes in Texas”. Conveniently located upriver, just 1 mile, from Garner State Park. Towering shade trees provides a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire, pitch horseshoes, or just relax and connect with the outdoors. This cabin is located on the best stretch of the Frio River for tubing. The deep “lake area” is 14- 18 feet deep year around. Take a stroll to the river to watch the fireflies come out in the evenings or star gaze from your porch! (We are night sky friendly!) The common area has a volleyball net, chalk board and Connect 4 game. There are 4 cabins and a house on this property, all with their own private outdoor/porch area.
This cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 guests The nightly rate is based on 2 guests, each additional guest is $15 per night. Cabin layout: 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (walk in shower) Bedroom #1/ 1 queen and 2 twins Living Room/ 1 queen bed (comfortable, not a fold out) Small picnic table inside for dining Strong Wifi & Smart TV, AC and heat. The little galley kitchen is furnished with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, utensils, BBQ tools, drip coffeepot, (I provide the filters) toaster, microwave, small stove and a refrigerator. There’s a dish drain, dish soap, new sponge, 1 roll of paper towels and a first aide kit under the kitchen sink. The restroom has antibacterial hand soap and 1 roll of toilet tissue. There is a septic system so ONLY toilet tissue can be flushed.
Pets are welcome. The fee is $20 per day, per pet. Please review our pet policy.
The cabin has an outdoor area with: picnic table charcoal BBQ pit campfire ring porch horseshoe pit
WHAT TO BRING: Pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, lawn chairs and ice. Linens can be supplied for an additional cost, excluding the peak season time period. We are unable to offer linens during peak season due to labor shortages in our rural area. Contact our office for more information regarding linens.

If you leave a one-night opening, we will call you after your reservation processes through our online system, to adjust your reservation dates. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call.
