"This apartment was perfect for my visit to Zumbrota to attend the ZHS Class of 1970 reunion. The space is clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. Towels and bedding are high quality. I appreciated the whimsical and interesting art, including the vintage pleated velveteen throw pillows. Well done! Zumbrota is a destination for shoppers, and the selection of clothing, shoes, gifts, and household decor will not disappoint. The Covered Bridge Park is a treasure of beautiful, shaded walking trails.Connie is a top-notch host! As the owner of Luya shoe store, Connie is also a member of the business community that works hard to make Zumbrota a truly special place to visit."

"This property is located on a beautiful lake with lots of space to be down by the water. The house is stocked with lots of things to do both inside and outside. It was extremely relaxing and peaceful. It is a great rental for younger families. Just be aware that this property is NOT good for people who have difficulty with steps. There are lots of retaining walls and a spiral staircase. There is only the one bedroom that is accessible without a lot of stairs and it is the room with the queen bed and bunk beds. The bunk house has an upstairs and a downstairs (separate entrances/no access inside to each other) with a total of 5 full size beds. However there is no bathroom or running water in those rooms. If you need to go to the bathroom at night, you must go outside and navigate some challenging stairs in the dark. If you have a younger group who doesn’t use the bathroom at night, it shouldn’t be a problem. We had 2 older individuals in our group who struggled with stairs. One of them had to sleep on the couch even though there were empty beds in the bunkhouse. Also, make sure to bring your own wood if you would like to have a bonfire. They charge a $1 per log and some of the logs were very small. "
