"In an old mining town founded in 1793. So much history going back to the French and Indian wars, the American Revolution. This friendly clean and sweet hotel sits right next to the Youghiogheny River. Down a little road in this old town when you think this “can’t be right”…you find a very nice space, a restaurant next door also overlooking the river is a good place to catch football games and the beer and food is also good. At night we watched the wide river and moon over the hills of the old town, industrial trains bustled on a track on the opposite shore. Also a delicious shop making real Italian coffee just down the street. Indeed warm cozy and comfortable modern hotel and also in the middle of American history. Close to many summer and winter attractions. "

The room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable place to stay."
