Gorgeous location

What a lovely place! Stunning location next to the river. Made the most of the outdoor seating and also the log burner for the chilly nights. Cottage has everything we needed. Very central location and easy reach to Anglesea, Snowdonia and surrounds. Beautiful! Outside terrace space could have benefitted from being swept and outdoor table being cleaned, as we spent a lot of time there.

Thought the location next to the river was good.

The place itself was clean and well heated. Good selection of games. Like many holiday homes there are things you'd change, but overall decent value.

Roua

A little sanctuary in Rowen, the sound of the river stream made the experience magical.

Perfect spot for peace and quiet! The location wasn’t accurate but eventually it was easy to find after contacting the host. The place was clean and equipped with basic things. It has a little doggy door for your furry friends. I would definitely love to come back!

a very lovely spot by the river.

I hadn't realised it is a dog friendly let, and do suffer with allergies, but that was my mistake. excellent for dog owners, very safe and lots of space for a dog. and lovely walks to go around. there is a brilliant Pancake house only 3 mins drive away which I highly recommend. savoury and sweet Dutch pancakes. yummy! the rooms are all a decent size and adequately equipped as is the kitchen. overall a lovely space, lots of room and beautiful next to the stoney river. I can imagine this would be absolutely idilic in spring/summer.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy

Time fir a revamp and deepclean

The property is in a quiet location and the promotion pixtures are largely acurate. Unfortunately the property does not seen.to be maintained and inside the facilities are just mean or.missing. The kitchen is missing basics like salt & pepper, and has a very small fridge. The dishwasher is again very small and the door does not open properly making it practically impossible to insert dinner plates. There were just 3 tumblers and 5 teaspoons provided. Ourside the riverside patio needs a clean and the garden.plants are overgrown making the garden and patio quite dark.

Location and privacy was really great.

Nice pub just a 5mins walk. Inside, cottage as per the pics, clean and comfortable. Other than glasses which were in shortly supply, the kitchen had a good range of cookware etc. The cakes were a nice welcome too. Staff in office were very responsive when we highlighted a few things. The lawn had not been cut and previous guest had not picked up after their pooch. Quite a few parcels left around sadly, hard to see in the longer grass. Also, not completely secure garden and with some rubbish also from previous guest, we couldn&#39t let our dogs off the leadon the grass much. Thankfully, we were out most of the timerelaxing inside in the evening

October Half Term Week

We have loved the riverside location here in Rowen. We recommend: The walk up Tal-y-Fan. (It's steep/strenuous with a bit of a scramble at the end) Fabulous views in all directions and well worth the effort! (Google walks from Rowen) Delicious toasties/cakes/coffee from the Malwen story and cafe in Rowen. Groesffordd Roe stores in the village. Caernarfon Castle. A lovely morning exploring the castle. Picnic beside the lake at Llanberis (Amazing mountain views!) car park - Maes Parcio Llyn Padarn. LL55 4BY. Betws-Y-Coed. A lovely place to wander and place from which to walk. Hangin' Pizzeria in Betws is great. We loved an 8 mile walk that passes Llyn Elsi and Swallow falls. (You cand rive to Swallows falls.!) We loved driving from Llanberis through the mountains via A4086 and Pen-Y-Pass to Betws-Y-Coed. Amazing news! A fantastic week!
