Top Cook Street Village Hotel Reviews
Embassy Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, great breakfast. We had a top floor room with a nice view. The sky light in the room had no blind so the light coming through would have woken us first thing in the morning, had we not been getting used to an 8 hour time difference so we're awake early anyway. The balcony was nice but would have benefitted from a couple of chairs to take advantage of the view and coffee."
Royal Scot Hotel & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"The perfect place to stay in Victoria, BC. Rooms were great, staff fabulous, great location."
Bedford Regency Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay! Love everything!"
Huntingdon Hotel and Suites
8/10 Good
"The breakfast was wonderful. The front desk staff and all staff we met ion the premises were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that our toilet paper was not refilled and we ran out just before we checked out."
Fairmont Empress
8/10 Good
"Every aspect of service from staff was wonderful but hallways and elevators definitely needs improvement. Some rooms have ridiculously small closets and weirdly set up washrooms that’s why I had to be moved.Problem was resolved promptly and to my satisfaction. Breakfast as well as afternoon tea were wonderful. Dinner not so much with overcooked salmon and not enough proper dining tables. You have to sit at the low lounge tables."
Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria On The Harbour
8/10 Good
"The location is excellent and in general we were happy with our stay, but the bed in our room was very old and the mattress sagged so we both ended up rolling to the middle. Made for a terrible night's sleep."
Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour
8/10 Good
"The Marriot hotel was very clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfy & housekeeping staff visited daily. The location was walkable and close to the inner Harbour landmarks & activities. We enjoyed being part of the M Club which provided us with free breakfast, appetizers, dessert hour and non-alcoholic beverages(bottled water/coffee/tea/sodas.) Beautiful lounge area to sit back and enjoy these items. The hotel price was reasonable too!"
Strathcona Hotel
8/10 Good
"Travelled with our family with two kids. Property is very central and easy to get around downtown. Staff were so nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean- we booked a room with two queen beds and a pull out. Spacious and nice for families. Beds are not the comfiest we have had but adequate. Lighting in bathroom is terrible but that was my only complaint. Nice new fridge and microwave in the room too which was handy. Keurig coffee and tea selection. They had a nice coffee bar in the lobby- wish they had a little treat for the kids. (Hot chocolate?) No breakfast on site but The Ruby was an easy walk and delicious! Only one elevator in the building which was tricky at checkout but there is a nice staircase you can always use. We enjoyed our stay and would consider going back to this hotel."
The Magnolia Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The most amazing thing about the Magnolia hotel is the staff. They are super friendly, helpful and welcoming! They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best one possible. Another great thing about the hotel is its location being close to downtown and the waterfront added to our visit to Victoria. Complimentary e-bikes provided by the hotel gave us an opportunity to explore Victoria beyond downtown. We will definitely be staying there again during our next visit to Victoria."
