"My sister and I were very pleased with this cabin. It's plenty big for (2) people. It was very cute, clean and in a great location, by a stream, kind of out of the way from traffic. Wildlife all around. I would highly recommend this to anyone!"

"This place has so much potential but the current staff is totally ruining it. Location is great, beds are comfortable, and it could be so cute if they tried at all to decorate the lobby. However, hotel smells horrible, like curry and foul body odor (not being racist, just saying it was pungent curry) and the towels smell like dirt. We left our window open so we could stand the smell. Cleanish, but definitely not clean. Toilet seats were worn, dirty and loose. There are no mattress covers and only thin sheets on the fabric mattress. Staff is absolutely rude: we arrived during alleged check in time but our key was left on the desk along with a sheet with some of my personal information on it. Though we went in and out many times the next two days and said hi, the staff just stared at us. Never spoke one word. We felt like intruders though we paid to stay. They just sit in the lobby or at a table behind a roll down security wall and stare as you walk in and out. If these are owner operators I suggest some air fresheners, mattress covers, new toilet seats, and hospitality lessons. If someone else owns this, may I suggest the above and a new staff. Visit Silvergate/Cooke City often but won’t stay here again."
