Bavarian Farm Schoolhouse - Choose this exquisite home for your family's visit to Cooperstown. The main frame, now covered, was a one-room schoolhouse that stood on this site. Built in the 1840’s, it was used as a school until the 1940’s. This home has been totally rebuilt. Two additions have been added to the original frame. Bavarian Farm Schoolhouse welcomes you with an open floor plan. Lots of natural light brightens the great room which includes living, dining and kitchen.
All of the living area is on one level. It is a gentle flow from the common area to a hallway for the three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The laundry area is also off this hallway.
This home sits in a bucolic country setting; the tasteful landscaping compliments the stamped concrete patio and wrap around deck. A circular driveway provides ample parking for 3 - 4 cars. Wheelchair access is available via a walkway that leads from the driveway to a side door off the patio. One of the bedrooms and a bath are handicap accessible, built to ADA standards. The carpet in this bedroom is designed especially for wheelchair mobility.
This home provides a gracious experience just 5 minutes from Main Street in Cooperstown and about a 12 minute drive to the Dreams Park.

This beautiful farm schoolhouse made our experience at Cooperstown unforgettable. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. We only had to get food, because when I said it has everything; it's everything you need. I cannot wait to be back with my youngest and book here again.

Is this Heaven? No it’s the Bavarian Farm Schoolhouse.
We recently stayed at the Bavarian Farm Schoolhouse, and it was a fantastic experience. The property is private and peaceful, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and abundant wildlife that added to the serene atmosphere.
During our stay, our team competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park. It was an unforgettable experience, made even better by having such a comfortable and scenic place to return to each day.
Additionally, the location is very convenient, being just a short drive to Dreams Park, Price Chopper grocery store and the Baseball Hall of Fame. This made it easy to grab essentials and explore the charming town.
Overall, I highly recommend the Bavarian Farm Schoolhouse for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with breathtaking views and a chance to connect with nature. The memories we made during our stay will last a lifetime.

We loved our stay at the Bevarian Farm Schoolhouse. The layout of the home was perfect with 2 large bathrooms and 3 comfortable bedrooms. The best part was the home was perfect for us, as we had one confined to a wheelchair. The house is equipped with a barbecue and all you need to cook, with stores and main street shopping close by. We also loved Deb, the owner. She was more than accommodating and so kind! Stay at this VRBO! You definitely won’t regret it!

Great home away from home!
Bavarian School House was a wonderful place to stay while my son was playing at Dreams park. The house was clean, comfortable, and well furnished with everything I expected. Plenty of towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. At the most, 15 minutes from Dreams Park and less than that to downtown Cooperstown. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The owner was extremely friendly and easily assessable at all times. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance!
